Key Product Information Before Purchase

Edited

Short Overview

Before purchasing Flow 2, confirm your water source type, hydraulic conditions, installation feasibility, drainage provision for automatic flush cycles, electrical availability, and whether additional hardness or iron treatment is required.
System suitability depends on water chemistry and installation compliance.

1️⃣ Confirm Water Source & Water Quality

Flow 2 is engineered primarily for treated municipal tap water and frequently suitable for stable deep well sources, subject to assessment.

Before purchase, confirm:

  • Water source type (municipal / borehole / tank)

  • Turbidity level

  • Presence of iron or manganese

  • Presence of hydrogen sulfide (odor)

  • Hardness level

If water quality is unknown, a basic laboratory test is recommended.

2️⃣ Assess Hardness & Scaling Risk

Flow 2 does not reduce hardness.

If visible limescale is present on:

  • Taps

  • Shower heads

  • Glass panels

  • Heating elements

A dedicated water softener system may be required in addition to Flow 2.

3️⃣ Installation Requirements

Installation must be performed by a qualified professional.

Pre-installation assessment should confirm:

  • Adequate installation space

  • Minimum inlet pressure (0.8 bar)

  • 1” plumbing compatibility

  • Drainage provision for automatic flush cycles

  • Electrical outlet (100–240V)

  • Compliance with local plumbing and electrical codes

DriinkMe does not provide remote installation certification or approval.

4️⃣ Maintenance & Operational Expectations

Flow 2 includes automated flushing cycles, but periodic servicing is required.

Typical maintenance includes:

  • Activated carbon cartridge replacement (interval depends on chlorine load and usage)

  • Inspection of hydraulic connections

  • Monitoring system indicators

  • Periodic professional servicing

Maintenance frequency depends on water quality and consumption volume.

5️⃣ When Professional Consultation Is Recommended

Consultation is strongly recommended if:

  • Water source is non-municipal or chemically variable

  • Property is hospitality or commercial

  • System integration with softener or iron removal is required

  • Peak demand exceeds 4 m³/h

  • Multi-building or zone distribution is planned

Important Clarification

Flow 2 is a high-performance point-of-entry purification system.

Final system suitability depends on:

  • Source water chemistry

  • Proper hydraulic integration

  • Correct installation

  • Appropriate pairing with additional treatment where required
